Volunteer Academy Training Programme
Open to UK Citizens or those with recourse to public funds, the Volunteer Academy Training Programme provides free high-quality training to new or existing volunteers in Hull, as well as those interested in learning more about volunteering.
This training is a one-day course and covers the fundamentals of being a volunteer and volunteering, including:
- An Introduction to Volunteering
- Safeguarding Adults and Children (Awareness)
- Health and Safety
- Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
- Data Protection
Following completion of the Volunteer Academy Programme, all attendees are provided with Volunteer Academy Certification and given the opportunity to receive individualised one-to-one support sessions to help them identify further training opportunities and where desired, to access new and exciting volunteering opportunities.
